A COAST-TO-COAST BIKE RIDE AGAINST SEXUAL ASSAULT, DOMESTIC VIOLENCE AND CHILD SEX TRAFFICKING
This journey will not only promote physical fitness and community involvement but will also serve as a powerful platform to educate and advocate for change. This event will not be just a ride; it will be a movement, and we want you to be a part of it.
WHY THIS RIDE MATTERS?
Every year, millions of individuals are affected by sexual assault, domestic violence and child abduction for sex trafficking. These issues not only cause immense personal suffering but also have broader social implications, affecting families and communities.
In the U.S., 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men experience intimate partner violence, while 1 in 6 women and 1 in 33 men have been victims of attempted or completed sexual assault.
An even worse epidemic is child sex trafficking. It has been growing exponentially in the just the past few years and is still growing to this day. Studies estimate that 83% of child sex trafficking victims in the U.S. are Americans, now add all the other children from other countries who are brought here from around the world.
Did you know there are over 22 million new images of child pornography on the web just this past year? That’s a 5000 % increase in the 5 past years. The fact is, it is the fastest international crime network the world has ever seen. It has already passed the illegal arms trade and soon to pass the illegal drug trade, and do you know why? Because a drug can be sold once, but a child, like a 5-year-old kid, can be sold 5 to10 times a day for 10 years straight. Now, I do understand people don’t want to hear it because it’s just too ugly for polite conversation, but meanwhile over 2,000,000 children a year are being sucked into the deepest recesses of hell. If we continue to do nothing, their pain is going to spread and spread till someday it’s going to reach the likes of you or someone around you. That will be a nightmare that you’ll never wake up from.
GODS CHILDREN ARE NOT FOR SALE
Human trafficking is a 150 billion dollar-a-year business. The United States is one of the top destinations for human trafficking and is among the largest consumers of child sex.
There are more humans in slavery today than any other time in history- including when slavery was legal. Millions of these slaves are children.
WHY IM TAKING ON THIS CHALLENGE
I aim to bring attention to these pressing issues, foster discussions by igniting conversations by engaging with communities, raise awareness, and spark crucial conversations about prevention and support. Empower survivors by sharing my story and resources, provide hope and assistance to those affected by these issues. We will create a legacy, because this ride will be a landmark for future events, aiming to create a lasting impact through education, community engagements, and fundraising, and provide resources for those in need. Your support can help amplify this message and make a significant impact in our communities and beyond. Each stop will feature opportunities to connect with advocates and survivors and hopefully join in local events and workshops. We are looking to engage in activities along the route, including guest speakers, community challenges, and even pop-up events to keep the momentum alive!

Join our coast-to-coast bike ride to bring awareness to sexual assault, domestic violence, and child sex trafficking. As we pedal from town to town, we'll ignite conversations, educate communities, and raise funds to support survivors. Together, let's put the brakes on abuse and accelerate towards a world where everyone feels safe.
Join the Hope In Motion community
Our trip will begin in Portland, Maine, and end near Seattle, Washington for a total of approximately 3500 miles within a 3 month period as an approximate 60 miles a day journey. We will begin our journey March 2025 traveling a northern trail stopping in many different towns and cities along the way to give our support to those in need and to spread awareness.
You will be able to follow us during our journey by seeing photos and videos on this site or checking us out on YOUTUBE (channel not yet available). As soon as an exact route is planned it will be uploaded to this site.
We would be thrilled for you to join us on part of or the entire trip. Even if you only want to ride for 1 foot, 1 mile, 100 miles or more, all are welcome.
